An 812 superfast is actually my next dream car now that the Lotus is basically checked off. It sounds absolutely incredible but with that said the LFA in my opinion is the best sounding engine

@vdr my dealership confirmed immediately when I asked. And they have had zero contact with me since my deposit so they aren't exactly Gator motorsports level of customer service.

I think it's pretty clear Naples is a a shady dealership and are no doubt selling allocations. Don't forget this is the same place that refuses to service your Lotus if you didn't buy it from them.

@DaaS yes I saw the sample in person and was immediately turned off. I don't know if it just wasn't a good example of the color or what. But to me, the configurator is a magnitude of many brighter

I want to do magma and ice grey but I can't see how that will look good. Anything I saw online that resembles what magma *actually* looks like doesn't contrast well. Maroon and white basically. Dark dark reds are typically accompanied by black interior.

Lotus Communication is certainly an oxymoron

In regards to magma I just don't see how the configurator is anywhere close to the real color. The samples I saw are not even in the same realm

Blue is definitely the hottest color right now but let's be real. Avoiding a blue Emira is like avoid a Red Ferrari because you're worried about other red cars. In reality they are worried about you. I think the C8 and other blue cars will look very understated next to the Emira.

Changed to no black pack. I prefer the silver tips and I'll debage the lettering anyway

@TomE I am looking forward to Evolves intake solution because their parts are usually of the highest quality. But I've seen them make mistakes (S65 plenum) so waiting is certainly a smart decision

The dealer can try to void a warranty but it's not that simple. Now if you changed a part on the car and that was a direct result of the failure and this can be pinpointed then Yes you won't be covered for that item. That's just the rear reflector for US. that's great if it's not on the rear fender.

I will never understand people protecting others who are doing wrong. Personally if I was in your situation I wouldn't even want to do buisness with a dealership like that and I would be shouting from the rooftops about it. I think it's a little selfish to those who have deposits there

Emira/Evora actually has longer gearing but lower max rpm. So just all around worse than the Porsche lol

@SJR202 ironcially Porsche did this by using inferior suspension. Lotus has had double wishbones in the front for a while, which takes up more space. Porsche just started this with the 992 gt3. Do you want a better front end or one that has a boot?

@tomeI think sports will be .6 faster on hethel and 1.6 slower on big willow lol

@FederGigant fwiw they said the sports is akin to the Evora Gt and with my experience it wasn't harsh. Surprisingly compliant actually. I dont know about you but I live near rough roads. But since it my 2nd sports car I will pick sports and I think we will both be happy.

@Wolfram that's a hack job. Doing corners require just a little patience and technique. Make sure to read many reviews and talk to the installer of your expectations.

If it isn't faster than a gt430 that should be considered an engineering failure. I don't expect it to be either. But oh well

I still don't trust the configurator. Magma red looks way brighter on there than in person.

Im a huge critic of this car but the one thing that no one can complain about the Emira is the noise it makes. 3rd cat delete should be perfect

@p.rob yeah unfortunately the only motorsport thing aabout the M cars is the engine. For a track car the cayman is better. Mine is fully modded with literally every mod so it does fine on a track. Much better road car though.

The b58 and s55 and now s58 are an absolute masterpiece especially in comparison to the 2gr-fe. BMW has built some of the best engines ever. Anyone would has experienced an S65 knows how special they can be.

@Balboa based on the info we have I would say you're best bet is sports with good years. The f1s are better than ps4s at what's going on through the wheel. They are definitely not all seasons by any means. If anything they're right in between ps4s and sport cup 2
