My drivers one broke a few weeks ago. It came adrift whilst driving and the threaded section on the floor has broken. I’m waiting again (Oakmere in Cheshire) to get back to me on a date for them to fix it…..which reminds me I’ll chase them yet again

I think I’ll wait until we get some sounds. I’m all for fruity noises in sport but if there is too much when in standard that can be tiresome on long trips.

2500 miles in after 3 months with an i4 . A few 500 mile long-weekend trips in the uk, having a ball. No significant issues to date, drivers side carpet come adrift and waiting for dealer to come up with a fix….

I took mine out earlier and frankly can’t see what the issue is. It’s pretty much like every dsc gearbox I’ve ever used. Yes you can catch it out if you try but generally the shifts are faster than any manual you’d have sympathy using.

I know it’s subjective but I think smallish sports cars need to be bright colours, otherwise get a porsche…… :-;. Yellow is a classic Lotus colour and I think one of the best for the Emira, it’s really a yellow mustard more than anything so quite rich but also bright in the sun.

I’m a bit deaf after too many years at rock concerts whist younger. However if you try hard you can hear the wastegate, wind it up and change gear near may revs or simply let off the accelerator quickly….open the windows ….there are some nice 4 cylinder pops and bangs as well.

Same in mine , sometimes but not often. It’s worse when it’s wet. My bmw m4 did the same occasionally but my wife’s newer bmw does not.

I tend to run around in sport using the manual shift. I’ve found it pretty quick and slick. The only issue I found was first to second can need higher revs than I’d expect so it occasionally ignores me.

Mine came on for a few days then went off just before it was goi g to the dealer to have a look. Went in anyhow but there were no codes to indicate why. The theory was that whist it was in for its ppf the left the door open too long and the battery got a bit flat.

I booked the garden party as donnington, which is a lot closer, was sold out. However I’ve not received any email that my booking has been recognised from lotus which is annoying and disconcerting since I’ve booked a hotel. At least my emira has arrived .

BMW don’t publish the full change log. They only show the things they want to show you. One recent update they did changed the way my wife’s EV charged by changing the timeout period but it was not listed.

Yep that’s about what I got taking the car to the dealer 60 miles away for its wrap. Steady 70 to 75 seems to get high 30s….since it’s been run in Im getting a lot less …

My reasons: -I had one of the very first Elise and so I have a soft spot for 4 cylinder lotus -the AMG engine is a bit of a beast and tends to feel faster than it is -U.K. road tax is cheaper for the i4 -I’d hoped it would be lighter …..but suspect this is marginal -my wife prefers to drive...

here is my yellow i4. I’ve had a couple of lotus previously including a very very early Elise so there was no other colour for me. I’ve full ppf’d it so we will see how that goes.
