Got my custom colour and offset wheels on the car yesterday and very happy with them. Removed 6mm rear and 5mm front offset to make them 1mm shy of flush.

Yep. Had issues with their exhaust but the engine cover and wheels seem great so far.

The difference in diameter is minimal if any. My guess would be decreased restriction due to the lack of 3rd cat and higher flow exhaust, plus possibly the valve behaving differently. Interesting that I didn't have those codes with the exact same setup though. I drove over 1000km with the setup...

Just an update for you guys... I went to my local dealer today and we scanned the P1018 CEL. The Lotus Description is "Valve not able to reach commanded position". We attempted recalibrating the valve using the Lotus diagnostic tool, but the same fault code still occurs in Sport mode shortly...

Mine was doing this on pretty much every cold start. Second attempt it was always fine. Battery voltage was down to 12.2V. Connected it to a charger overnight and it hasn't done it again since.

Thanks. So just to be clear. Did you rotate it 180 degrees so the L shaped part at the end of the spring is still on the actuator side, or invert it so the L shaped part is on the valve side? Sorry for all the questions. Just trying to make sure we’re on the same page.

I might be being overly cautious here, but be aware that running the valve force closed using the Milltek controller could cause engine damage from excess back pressure. I’d suggest mapping OEM and Open settings to your homelink buttons if you have it and then stash the milltek remote away...

Yes. It has to be recalibrated by a dealership or authorised service centre using the lotus diagnostic tool.

You may still have to get the actuator recalibrated even after putting the stock exhaust back on now as its alignment will have changed from running past its original calibration. Might get lucky, but don’t be surprised if you still get a CEL after returning to stock. Sorry for the bad news...

Just be aware rotating the spring stops the valve from closing properly so it will be louder on cold start, etc. Recalibration has to be done using the Lotus diagnostic system so unfortunately it can’t be DIY’d

Thanks for clarifying. I spoke to a few other people with different exhausts last night who have had the same issue. Recalibrating the valve controller apparently fixes it. It’s caused by the range of movement being slightly different. I will give this a try when I’m next at Lotus on the...

Here's the Aerie system on my car after a few heat cycles. The J pipe and back box is definetly all titanium at least on the outer visible parts. Hopefully I'll have this valve rattle sorted soon and can finish my comparison video. :)

It was my car that developed the valve rattle after a few heat cycles. So far they have been good about it and are sending me the replacement spring which will hopefully resolve the issue with minimal fuss. These things happen. As soon as it’s fixed up I’ll finish the before and after...

That F1-esque rasp you hear is almost certainly a result of running catless headers.

Stock Y pipe doesn't have any shielding other than a small metal cover over the flex joint. Here it is next to the Aerie one.

Installed the Y pipe, catless J pipe and back box on my car yesterday. Will have a full video up soon as promised, just need to record all the "after" clips and edit it. No major fitment issues at all and it sounds fantastic. Nice deep tone without being crazy loud and no excessive drone inside...

Experiencing the same currently with mine. Audio works maybe 10% of the time.

I’m in Australia and in my case parts have been on hand for all the recall stuff and the power steering pump. Other stuff has had to be ordered. I forgot to mention I also had a broken sun visor that was sagging, and that took over 4 months to get the part.

If you want to move the car around without starting the engine but don’t want to disable the auto parking brake, just hold the ignition button down for 5-10 seconds without your foot on the brake to turn on the ignition without starting the engine and you can turn off the parking brake.

For those like me who were hoping KW may develop a Hydraulic Lift System (HLS) for the Emira, I'm afraid it's bad, but not unexpected news. I just spoke with them about it and this was their response.... Perhaps another air cup-style kit may work for those wanting to raise their car on demand.
