I have run mine down to below 50 with no issues. To display odo, scroll down to trip and then scroll across. One of the displays is odo plus the two trips all in one screen.

That’s right. Just avoid the part of the boot where the lock mechanism is. My trickle charger is outside the boot so it’s only the thinner low voltage cable going through the seal.

The other Emira on the Absolute Lotus Scotland tour I went on recently had a similar issue with the hill hold.

I think you can control the temp from the touch screen too. No need to reach for the knob….

Don’t forget to mention that the radio is not loud enough! Strangely I seem to be the only person in the world who thinks the little green light in the overhead console is too bright. Maybe no one else has driven theirs in the dark yet?

Interesting thread. From my first test drive I noted that the Emira seemed to rev more freely than my Evora and I speculated it had a lighter flywheel which would cause that. However a lighter flywheel would also cause the revs to come down more quickly too which it plainly doesn’t. Wasnt...

It might be worth giving them a call directly. I am sure they would not be happy to know that their cover doesn’t fit well. Maybe they can modify the mirror pockets for you?

You may find you can drive around it. The noise appears at a certain rev/torque combination and once you are used to what makes it appear you can just accelerate through it to minimize the noise. I have driven three Emira and they all did it to one extent or another.

CarPlay is wireless so you can do as you suggest just to keep the phone battery topped up.

Just one other thought on this. The Hethel photos were mostly taken just after lunch so although it was mid Feb the sun would have been at its highest. The meet up photos were taken at 10am so the sun would be lower. The camera is at the same height roughly in all photos, apart from the one...

Mine has the gearbox grumble but only really noticeable in first. I think all Emiras do it to a certain extent. One thing I forgot to mention above is the road noise. The car seems very sensitive to the road surface regarding noise generation. Some times it’s almost silent but on others, pretty much restricted to some types of motorway surfaces, it’s very noisy. Much more than any previous car I think...
