No need to create anything, the replacement lettering from Lotus came in the plastic jig, so it all lined up perfectly. 10min job to replace the silver for the Black - pics on my instagram. Definitely suits the black lettering better I think.

Genuinely surprised so many people are cancelling, I think it's a fantastic car and it has a great reception in real life. I don't think these 30 min test drives on set routes are enough time to properly experience the car.

No, it comes from the factory with a small amount of PPF on the rear arches before the rear wheel, and just behind the front wheel also.

Took it out in the snow today - drives pretty well for a RWD (goodyear tyres, sport chassis) in the slippy conditions, definitely not as twitchy as my tuned M4. More YouTube stuff filmed, I'll try to edit it all tonight and post.

Panels are painted off car, together, so that all a car's panel's are painted together. I've seen this take place in the factory.

It steams up quickly when parked in the damp / wet / cold scottish conditions. It also demists really fast so no issues from me at all on that front :)

It was a 2006 997.1 C4S - lovely car, but tiptronic box rather than manual. I've still got the Porsche Cayenne S, an M4 and an old C class merc. Couldn't justify keeping the 911 plus the Emira. I mean I could, but, it was right to let it go :D

Agreed re the above, I have a Cayenne S, it's great, but it's an Audi / VW underneath. My 911 997 C4S however was full on Porsche through and through (sold to make way for the Emira I might add!)

Exactly that, it'll be the software codec that decodes it on the radio is obviously different - and something as a result that could be patched if need be. I'm not disappointed by the setup, it works, just as I say it's not as loud as other systems I own and the radio is pretty pants :)...

Copied over from my thread on 1st Hethel factory collection car....... although removed the non car pics for this thread :) 'Official' Lotus PR team pics were mailed over to me today - here's a few ahead of their press release:

F83, convertible, so 'heavy'. It's on KW HAS suspension, more for looks as the rear sat way too high stock. Tuned, the M4 is outright more powerful and quicker in a straight line than the Emira. But handling, the lotus is so planted, way less body roll, and way more grip. I take the M4...
