UPDATE :) Wow, lots of chat while i've been away haha. I really hope no one has cancelled their orders based on me having my ECU replaced however. So following Friday night's update, where ECU replaced, got car back, randomly throwing up an ECS error that cleared after a battery disconnect.

Sorry you feel that :( I haven't posted any of this to push anyone away from the car. I think it's awesome, I genuinely am very happy with it even if I get frustrated at the issues. I have to accept these are teething issues with a new model. Sure, it's not great that there are issues, but...

72mpg though - still got it, not even had to fill it up yet and nearly 4 weeks :)

Haven't seen my Emira in several weeks, so checked some pics. And I can confirm I do NOT have a passenger side net either

negative. 3 weeks so far this time around, requires new ECU. I'll post an update in the issues thread when I get more details.

I've had to deal with lotus assist 4 times now, and have fed back several 'learning points' to lotus re them, so unfortunately, feeling your pain.

@Porter I'll do this - but it's still away with Lotus being fixed :( Been 11 days now, hopefully back soon and I'll measure it up.

I was arranged a car from the nearest airport car hire place. I'd love to have been given an Exige :D It's just a Toyota Prius from an airport hire company though :p

Sorry to hear this. However why don't you have a courtesy car of some kind? Just ask, I did and got one dropped off.

Yup mine's an AO as are all the demo cars.

The calipers match the lotus badge, a 'lemon yellow' shall we say, rather than the warmer more mustard tone of the Hethel Yellow paintwork. They definitely do NOT match the paint work at all, they look cool, but I'm tempted to have them painted.

Hopefully I'll be able to post a detailed update on the issues tomorrow. But it's not the battery at fault.

Hopefully when you get it next week you'll not care about comms in the lead up tbh. Car is great fun and I've long forgotten about delays and comms.

UPDATE.... So, unfortunately a few software glitches has caused Lotus to recover the vehicle back to the nearest dealership to check it out and apply some updates to resolve. Issues (that others have experienced too I can see) 1) Wipers when on auto mode sometimes don't go into full speed...

I asked Lotus to give me the black letters separately after I picked up the car, and then I fitted them in place of the silver ones :)
