I've had this happen to me but mostly at speed. Amusingly, slowing down (for whatever reason) seemed to fix this. Sometimes, pressing the button multiple times works as well. Could you give that a try and report back?

I can back this up too. Just yesterday, I went for a 3-hour spirited drive. Temp outside was between 80-86F. I drove with the windows down ~95% of the time. Speeds were mostly below 50mph. I drove barefoot (since I was wearing sandals), and my feet were cooking!! Definitely not something that...
