Loved the test drive and car! It really blows my mind that someone could test drive and not like it. My only guess would be that it was not the car you were actually looking for.

I had the pleasure of testing it today. It sounded good to me. Maybe it depends on the music you like. Post Malone had a bunch of bass and it sounded rich. Possibly some are not getting final production system? Zero complaints about stereo.

This thread is proof you need to test drive the car and not follow the reviews. Two completely different takes on the car. You really cannot discount either review unless you drive the car yourself. Wow I had no idea the GTS was dull! When I think of Porsche I think everything drives like my 79 930. Driving the 930 was a thrill ride and raw. Kind of like wrestling a gorilla. Have all modern Porsche become dull except GT3? I did track a GT3 in Vegas and it was amazing.

Not to sound like a ahole but if you search this has been discussed to nauseam! If you google search the C8 is having the same delay issues with parts supply problems. Production has been stopped multiple times.

I just scheduled my test drive for next Friday at Lotus of Boston. I will be driving my R8 to the test drive so I can do a back to back comparison. Should be interesting test. Excited to see car in person and drive my first Lotus.

Sorry that thing is still hideous! Really do not care how it performs. It does not have a manual and it is ugly as F! Those are two deal breakers in my book.

That might be true with the stock suspension. Install a set of coilovers and aftermarket exhaust if you want less of a GT car. I suspect the Emira will be more of a GT car than the R8. I will definitely provide feedback after I take delivery.

If you are looking for a very ugly car that has similar performance check out the Alpine A110. You could totally drive that and not feel like a poser.

If that is how it makes you feel I would definitely recommend you buy a Ferrari instead. Best of luck.
