    Stock Emira Wheels and Tires

You'll upset, and get the wrath of, FreddieDB! I think the Dark Verdant spoke insets will finish em off nicely. A note: Cayman09 ordered a set, and his arrived with a centre cap bore of 65.5mm. stock lotus wheel is 61.25mm bore. (Lotus centre cap is 60mm OD) I sent them a wee drawing (see...

    Stock Emira Wheels and Tires

Wheels are finished, they just sent these photos (not virtual render) I will be painting the inset groove Dark Verdant when they arrive). Given that whilst the manufacturing plant looks huge (and probably makes wheels for more well known 'brands' than you'd like to think), and will likely be...

📓 Journals My DV Emira and modifications

The glass was £372 GBP (about $470 USD), but I fiited it myself, so obviously avoided the fitment labour cost. Dunno how much an autoglass firm would charge for fitment.

    JUBU Emira 500 Power upgrade

I got this directly from Martin Jung @ Jubu, and it's a larger pulley on the blower, reduced boost: Hi Jon, thx for your email. Were are you from? You only need to install the headers and the sportcat to get 460. We change also the supercharger pulley and lower down the boost. (bigger pulley)...

    JUBU Emira 500 Power upgrade

I've just traded a couple of emails with Jubu. I rather fancy (to begin with) going for their replacement ecu, thereby upping the 6800 limiter, and, having a way softer limiter when it does come in. The stock emira limiter is nasty! SOOOO abrupt. It cuts at 6800, completely!, then seems to...

    Service Manual

I don't think it's always about skill level. On so many modern builds, knowing the location of, and required 'action' to release all these nasty hidden plastic clips etc, which way to push, or squeeze. So much hidden stuff that only product knowledge (or a decent manual) can lead you to. I...

    Service Manual

FYI, It's not a great doc. Misses lots of detail. A cynic would say that the people responsible for creating it, have never worked on an Emira. Just MHO.

    Hello from England

Cool. I had a 551hp R, mapped to 629hp by Race-Chip in Germany. Bulldog of a thing. Not much finesse, but out of the blocks it was a brute. The 575 was the SVR wasn't it? Where are you based?

    Stock Emira Wheels and Tires

Looking good! Today I collected 4 new TPMS units and retaining nuts from B&C to go in my new wheels. Also have 4 GoodYear F1 tyres sitting in my basket at Camskill ready to push the button, so I'll be keeping the originals complete as spares for now. For anyone interested, these are the...

How hard is to change the rear window?

I did it myself. No big deal. Not sure about the rear 3/4 side windows though, I think you need to remove the rear wings (fenders) to change those. Tailgate glass is bonded in with PU (Sikkaflex), you cut it out with cheeswire. Only tricky bit is around the heated screen electrical...

Emira Lightweight Alloy Forged Wheels by Aerie Performance

A lot of the 'look' of that wheel design, comes from it's almost zero offset (I'm guessing, but sure it'll be a very low number). So the Emira will limit how much of that nice deep dish look you can get.

    Non BLACK PACK exhaust tips??

    (y) Actually Cerakote, glacier gold, (Glacier range is good for 1000 deg C / 1830 F) But yes. I agree on the gloss black plastic, not just the look, it also shows every speck of dust!. Once they're all available, I will replace upper diffuser, rear wheel vents, rear fender intakes...

    Non BLACK PACK exhaust tips??

Correct. Thanks for the manual shots. I have actually already had the lower diffuser & engine undertray off, when I did the first lube service @ 1300 miles, just wasn't sure if it was possible to wiggle the exhaust tips out around the upper diffuser panel and actual exhaust tubes, as I didn't...

    Non BLACK PACK exhaust tips??

Ah ok, that makes sense, I thought you meant you could fiddle them out without removing the muffler or upper diffuser. PS, just received my alloy carpet anchors from you, very nice, thanks :)

    Non BLACK PACK exhaust tips??

They are only £56 GBP each from Lotus (about $72 USD), at least they are in the UK, I just bought a pair.

    Non BLACK PACK exhaust tips??

Can you remove them by just removing the lower diffuser? They look like it may be quite a fiddle, unless you also remove the rear bumper/diffuser surround that they're attached to? I haven't actually tried yet myself Jon

    Non BLACK PACK exhaust tips??

In the UK, the tips are £56 GBP each plus sales tax. (from Lotus) They are made of stainless steel, double skinned, with a flour blast finish (satin) I bought a set to get Cerakoted in gold to match my other gold bits. Decided to buy a set, so I could get the coating done, and confirm that I...

    Privacy glass “double negative” option

Indeed, that's why I initially ordered without privacy, those lonely looking side windows, almost black, look out of place to me.

    Privacy glass “double negative” option

3 months. I know a lot of folk say that they want clear glass as they wanna see the engine, but TBH, it aint no Ferrari V12 with gorgeous rigging & fancy bits, it's a black lid atop the blower, and that's all you can see, really not worth showing off. For me, the black reflective look of the...
