Nope! This track is pretty easy on tires and brakes so that’s probably a good idea for other tracks. Only three hard braking zones on the whole track. Car feels fantastic.

Second HPDE with Chin Track Days at OIR.

I used OpenTrack and it was about $750 for a two day event. Got quotes from Hagerty and one other company and they were similar.

Good insight. The track I went to was very flowy and did not require a lot of heartbreaking other than maybe two corners. It’s good to understand that other tracks will require more preparation.

Ran over this stupid thing and got a flat in my right rear tyre. The good news is that the TPMS warned me and gave me plenty of time to pull over and fix it. I used the included Fix and Go kit and it was a cinch. Took all of 5 minutes and I was back on my way home.

Mine feels pretty dang good after 6,000 miles. I feel like it took a while to smooth out and get where it is now. I’d be interested to see how the GRP feels but I don’t feel inclined to make any changes yet.

I sold an awesome PRHT NC to get my Emira. LOVE the look of the RF but have a hard time reconciling the price tag. The Emira is an amazing car but I do miss the open air motoring of the NC sometimes. Would love to have an ND in the future at some point.

Man I feel like a doofus for not recognizing that. The track is the only place I haven’t used Track Mode. 😅

I thought Track Mode turned ESC off. Am I wrong? When I did an HPDE in the Emira in May, I used Sport Mode because my instructor recommended I keep ESC on. I would love to put it in Track for the quicker throttle and better exhaust note. I also prefer the Track gauge layout. I don’t have much...

The overstuffed feeling seat and high seating position is hands down the worst thing about the car for me.

That's how I drive in normal driving, but I lift my heel and keep my foot floating when I am braking aggressively with the intention to heel-toe.

I’d get a boot liner for sure.

This works for me. I use my big toe to brake and the right side of my foot on the throttle. Definitely easier at speed when braking hard. I’d always struggled to do it on the street and on the track it just clicked for me.

Finally set up Homelink, after much troubleshooting. Turns out it's very important to have a fresh battery in the garage door opener.

I agree. If I didn't have the Emira, I wouldn't want anything faster. It really hits the sweet spot.

I think it is a natural part of the drivetrain noise and not representative of an actual problem.

Got my alcantara/yellow fob case and I’m blown away. Definitely exceeded my expectations. Everyone who has seen it is impressed as well. Might have to pick up another for my spare fob!

I’ve also been told by a Porsche owner that the Emira is more fun to drive. I would definitely believe it when compared to a PDK GT3. They’re amazingly competent cars but that doesn’t always translate to enjoyment.

I think I hit about 1.2 indicated lateral Gs at the track a few weeks ago. Touring trim with Goodyear F1s.
