Agreed. Perhaps you inadvertently hit the rev limiter. Or maybe the instructor was just being too precious about the engine.

Totally agree. The blue in matte looks amazing. That verdant green looks pretty great too. I did my nimbus grey in gloss ppf, but I suspect the matte would look fantastic.

I am curious to see any silver/grey Emiras wrapped with matte PPF. Feels like it would either be a shame to hide the original metallic or be totally awesome.

Update: Issues have been mostly resolved. PPF shop has painted the bumper area where the paint pulled. Photos below. My conclusion is that the area under the black plastic trim doesn’t receive a lot or any clear coat, which makes it more fragile. It would be best for PPF installers to not try...

I put the top screws first. Agree that leaving them a bit loose may help with the bottom screws. But none of the installation was difficult.

Only 300 miles so far. Only issue is not being able to go above 4,000 RPM yet. Feels like that is where the power really kicks in.

I received mine as well. Haven't been able to install yet because the Emira is on the shop fixing a paint issue caused by the PPF installer. Will let you know when I have a chance to install the charger. Thanks!

I have now had a chance to drive in smoother surfaces, and it sounds very different. All things considered, I will probably try different tires in the future, and prioritize one with less road noise. On a positive note, the supercharger whine is quite addictive!
