Maybe the system just lacks volume. But that's usually the first thing any ordinary car amp does well. The sound can be terrible, but the volume is high, in basic cars.
I am so unhappy with the KEF system that I have given the task to my dealer to find out in Hethel if my Emira (one of the first cars delivered in October) has a completely up-to-date KEF system including up-to-date software. The answer is yes. However, the system has no bass and no volume at...
Just for your info (another brand but the same logistics issues): The transport of my new MB V-class from Vitoria (MB plant in Spain) to the Czech Republic took over 2 months (approx. 1900 kms). That is the current state of logistics (nothing works!).
Don't be too optimistic! The transport of my new MB V-class from Vitoria (MB plant in Spain) to the Czech Republic took over 2 months (approx. 1900 kms). With the current state of logistics (nothing works!) I can't imagine how long it takes to transport a new car from the factory to the port...
You can set up one of these variants in the infotainment:
- none dipping mirror
- left dipping mirror
- right dipping mirror
- both dipping mirrors
I feel that the mirrors dip too much... because of it I chose only right dipping mirror (LHD car).
View from the other side: I paid a catalog price of EUR 102,000 incl. 21% VAT for my Emira incl. black pack, alcantara steering wheel and transport to CZ. That's £88,000 at today's rate. From my point of view, the Emira sold at CC for approx. its (EU) list price.
Not in our country either... here is the standard dealer model not the UK agent model... but my Emira in mid October was the first NEW car my dealer sold this year... couldn't even sell more it was the first car that left the factory for the Czech market... that's a situation where you don't...
The Emira can attract (long time) owners of 911s by its much more exotic looks and simple technics. I can see it in the way that my Emira interests far more people than a (usual) 911.
CC Emira at 78.000 GBP + commission now. Small step but it shows there is some interest for the Emira.

I haven't seen lights other than self-levelling on any modern car for a long time.
The bigger problem for me is that my Emira shines a lot to the right (LHD car, i.e. into the ditch). I will take this up with the dealer on my next visit.
I'm 6 feet and 250 lbs and even the driver seat is comfortable for me. This is not typical of other sports cars. I think slim people might have a bit problem with the seat being too wide for them.
What do you think of the seat, @Lowtush ?
In CZ, your driver's license will be confiscated for 6 months if you don't have a front plate for the first time and for 12 months if you don't have it repeatedly. I wouldn't allow this. Yes, that's my 1st world problem, I know ;-)
I envy you of that. The Emira looks much better without the front number plate than with it. Unfortunately, in our country you also have to have a front plate 52 cm long (over 20 inches).
Just my thoughts: I own three cars with a power of 400 hp or more - Emira, 2016 Mustang GT and 2006 RS4... The Emira and the RS4 are not so exciting because of their perfect chassis, the Mustang is very (even more than one can wish) exciting because of the crazy chassis and traction. But the...
If you adjust the color of the calipers with the color of the car, all the badges will have a different color. I was thinking about it because my Emira is also Hethel yellow with yellow calipers.
I think that in the heat of the auction you will offer the same amount for the car and simply pay a higher fee. It will not affect the price at which the car will be auctioned.
My Emira is a LHD car. The offset is a little noticeable when driving the car for the first time. I don't feel any offset more as I drive the car repeatedly for more as 1 month. That is definitely no issue.
I think the offset on RHD cars (smaller than on LHD cars) can't be a problem at all.
This offer is new: an immediately available Emira V6 man FE with just delivery kms, never really driven, 124.899 EUR incl. 19 % of German VAT (stated in the text). In Germany there is no luxury tax, so the profit would be about 25.000 EUR (gross) if it will be sold as it is advertised. The...
Definitely YES, I love the Emira despite a few problems described in this thread. It's a fantastic sports car. As an early adopter (first car in our country) I expected there would be some problems, especially with a small series car.
