I contacted PCD on ebay and they said they only make them for the Emira rear and don't have anything for the front. Now I am confused.

I can't speak for every dealer repair but mine spoke to Lotus and said as long as the warranty claim is agreed at the same time it would include the PPF,. That being sad I did have to get the PPF quote in advance for Lotus to review. I am sure if the price was higher that they thought is...

I totally agree with you regarding the great feeling when buying a brand new car no one has owned before. I bought mine at 8 months old which is the first car for about 20 years that wasn’t new and it turned out pretty good. At least getting a 24 or newer car you hopefully won’t get blisters. 👍🏻

Not sure until I see the new ones. I’d imagine there is some form of drainage on the original one buts it’s improved on all the newer ones. @Rupes - I’m sure this won’t happen again after the fix. They said all the doors been fitted to the new cars have the correct drainage and are resin sealed...

Good advice. Make sure you have a time slot with an agreement for them to show you all of the functions as it takes a long time to spot properly.

I’d like to this as well, maybe in reverse with the numbers in yellow. I think I’ll get someone more arty than me to do I or I’m sure I’ll bodge it.

Has anyone having had the repair see the difference between the original and modified doors? I would love the see photographs of them from beneath the door and inside for a comparison. If no one has this I will be asking for this when mine eventually goes in.
