I don’t want my car delivered in January but looking to delay to March doesn’t now appear to be an option. Let’s be honest though if you were betting, would you bet on your car being delivered in January, I wouldn’t. We’ve been here before many times.

So the old adage LOTUS - lots of trouble usually serious still applies just not to the cars braking down.

I think a lot of hope is planned on a second shift becoming operational. No doubt something else will happen in the world and our deliveries will be impacted before January/February/March. it must be good for deposit speculating on "in demand cars" as it seems all these type of deliveries are...

Haven't had the call (7/7 10.30 am deposit holder) but rang up and spoke to Abbie/Abby and got informed January delivery expected now. At least my test drive wont have to be rushed to accommodate the car coming sooner. Glad i didn't order Sports with Michelin Cups on it!

I can’t see the car being registered before payment is made. I’m assigning a private plate to the car but if I then decide, for whatever reason, to not progress buying the car then how do you get that registration removed. I think it’s more the case payment is made and then the registration...

If mine is going to be late January deliver (was to be November) then I’ll seek to register it in March, pay for it earlier though -provided the warranty also starts on registration date and not payment date.

Just imagine how long the delay to an I4 FE will be now we have nearly all been moved to next year.

@JohnHoward i tihnk its fair to say "us January deliveries" isnt cast in stone. I was a locked in October build and before that July and before that etc etc. I wouln't feel too dispondent yet.. beyone what we already feel.
