The GTS PDK is faster than GT4 Manual on paper and in a straight line. But the GT4 has different suspension which makes it sharper but the rear is harsh for me. GT4 is a fine car, GTS is softer and better for long distance touring with passengers who hate firm suspension.

Its the Coupe variant. Placed my deposit in May for predicted December 22 build which has now shifted to Jan 23. The Coupe is much shorter lead time than Boxster which I believe is 18 months.

This just plays to their lack of customer facing experience. The test is how quickly they adjust to what motivates the customer, gives them satisfaction. The dealers must be pulling their hair out, slapping their foreheads.....wondering what they are in for. Let the guys on the front line sort it.

I concur. Thus a question has been posed, ie what would happen to my build date if I changed body colour and stitch colour. The CS person was very pragmatic regarding the implications and seemed to (now) have a direct line to Clive, the production planner. I cannot tell a lie.

Just my take, I had Cup 2's on a few cars and they were lethal in the wet, particularly standing water, and would aquaplane at very low/cautious speeds. So, even if the ambient was warm, continuous rain would cool the tyres and scare the hell out of you.

It's relatively easy to repaint callipers but you have to have the car to do it.......this is Zen Lotus in action......soon doesn't do it......this is Reality Lotus. As you may tell, I'm suffering from Lotusfobia.

Back in July a Lotus senior exec assured me the initial batch of auto V6 boxes were physical at Hethel, thus my order was in a batch that used the onsite boxes. But, as we know, items can get stolen, can be declared unfit for purpose or get lost in the ether. Time will soon tell.

Sure, with respect, but like me you are guessing what the bottlenecks are; and that's all we can do in the absence of facts. IIRC some areas of type approval need production parts. However the multitude of issues does beg the questions, what's going at Lotus!
