Some good questions there, i`d suggest maybe emailing them to the customer service team before you go so they can give you the answers when you are there. I doubt they`ll know if you ask them on the tour. He`s very knowledgeable but, as you`d expect, knows what he knows and the more oblique...

I went on the tour yesterday. Found it really interesting and a chance to look at the colours before finally making my mind up. Loads of info given in our wander around and the set up is miles away from where they were before. Loads of interesting things about the cars and what Lotus have done...

I dropped an email message to Lotus CC to ask about the seats but had a response that wasn`t relevant. I dropped the response onto FB as it did include some detail around the ride height of the car. I then had a call from Lotus as they had seen the post. The seats will be lower that the mule...

Same, but from what i`ve seen so far and what top gear said/lotus reply it`s not looking hopeful. Not a lot i/we can do until we can get inside a production model and see what`s there. If i can`t see then there`s a few choices, wait for the base to see if that`s different, buy different seats...

Yep, plenty of head room and i didn`t suffer with that at all. It`s the height of the windscreen that i had issues with and felt i`d have to hunch a bit to make sure my eye line wasn`t almost in line with the top of the screen. The mule seats were working when i sat in it and i had it as far...

I`m seriously worried. Top gear review mentions the seating height is high and Lotus responded saying they were 20mm higher because of the motors needed. Didn`t sound to me that they will be dropped the promised 20mm but will stay the same as the mule car. That was too high for me and i know a...

Probably back to another lotus and pick up a M100. Had one before and loved it, will try and track that one down and see if i can buy it back. Otherwise i`ll turn my Cupra into a proper track car or pick up a Cayman GTS. Fairly undecided.....

At the viewing i had a chat with one of the lotus techs. He said that part of the aero was designed to remove the dirty air from the arches and the front was designed to produce 85KG of downforce. The bottom is also flat to help the car grip the road. Stupidly i didn`t ask wat what speed.......

Nothing interesting, just at nearly 6`3" i got bored trying to get in and out without crawling across the floor :)

Thanks all, visiting my local dealer tomorrow to have a chat. Colour wise i`m taken by the Blue as think the darker colours will be a bit difficult to see on the roads. We`ll see when the choice has to be made, probably change my mind a hundred times before then!
