Just got an email. I don’t specifically have the VIN, but was told the car has been produced and I have a VIN and it should show up on the water in the next couple of weeks. Time will tell, but at least it’s some positive news.

I inquired yesterday, Dealer said that he received the Sept report that shows my order locked and he hasn't gotten any further updates so far this month. He sent an inquiry to Lotus to check as the Status has not changed from Locked, meaning scheduled for production. Who knows... I'll see if...

I confirmed my order again April 12, 2024 for a second time, First time was Aug of 2023. I have heard crickets. I did reach out about two weeks ago, all they said was no VIN was assigned. Original deposit was July 12, 2021. For a V6 FE auto. Patience is a virtue I guess

That's good to hear.. My dealer has told me I still haven't been issued a vin yet on my auto. Anyone know how long scheduled production is to finish up the V1 and V2 FEV6? This is probably me getting impatient, but it seems this thing will never get produced.

WIth all this activity, I reached out to my dealer, no VIN... Patiently wait. He did say Soon.. 😧

As a V6auto deposit holder, this rollout from Lotus has definitely been frustrating. Not saying I would have changed my mind, but it’s true, the V6auto is more money for less on performance.

I probably have at least a few months for delivery, but this issue is making me think of ppf. Whether to get it or not. It seems lotus is paying to have it done again after the paint issues are rectified. I guess I have time to decide

I have had a deposit for 3 years on a V6 auto. Now the i4 is going to be 400hp… 🤔 interesting

I’m about 3.5 hours as well, but I’m thinking if there’s an issue and I can drive, my closest dealer would be about 30 minutes across the border, a Detroit dealer. Possible an option depending on where you live. Just remembered you are close to me. So an option as well

What did Oakville do regarding front license plate? Did they use something like what I have seen that bolts underneath?

Curious if anyone that picked up their Emira got the PPF done through the Oakville dealer ? If you did, let me know your thoughts on the work done. I’m still months away from taking t delivery, he has presented me the options although I’m thinning of having it done locally.

I deal with an Ontario dealer and I'm still months away from delivery (fingers crossed) but I haven't had any discussion like that at all.

I asked Oakville today . They told me the folllowing: The cars are coming up from the USA now The PDI and Freight is $4995 CND Funds They travel in Enclosed Trailers

One would hope as new production occurs they just take care of the problem at the factory, obviously this issues isn't one off's

Deposit date for me was July 12, 2021. Order confirmed Aug 17, 2023 and reconfirmed 2 days ago because of the delay with the Auto's

I asked who does it, they just said someone they have used for years and has high profile clients. I have a guy in my area that I trust 💯 and is the go to person. I will probably be getting him to do everything.

Nothing too exciting , but Oakville reached out to reconfirm my order, (fyi auto deposit holder), they told me they wanted to button it up. They are expecting a June-ish production and a Sept delivery. Also went over options for PPF and leasing if I was interested.

I finalized my order in August, 2023. Tony said they are looking at a summer build. Possible Sept delivery
