As you say Tom, good installers are worth the extra money. My only concern, if panels have to be removed or loosened, could this possibly have a potential issue with regards to warranty?

As in my pic, provisionally it’s Nimbus Grey with black roof and ice interior for me. Probably throw on yellow callipers as well. Love the way it shows the lines of the car, just can’t wait to see the actual colour rather than a render. If it looks the same, metallic or not, it’s a done deal for me.

Maybe I‘m just being cynical but with Lotus stating they have “tuned” the AMG engine to 360HP, are we right to assume they did a typo and forgot to put “de” before “tuned”? Does anyone know of a good reason why they would significantly lower this engine’s potential output, or is it just a ploy...

I’ve had mine too. Shame it doesn’t give any real details, maybe they’re running a little more behind than we first thought. We’ve got more specs about the lovely GT4 car than the FE car. If only that could be a FE body kit……….. (please, please, please)

I’m pretty sure the I4 comes with an 8 speed dct, not seven !! Sloppy journalism, unless they have a different spec for America which I very much doubt.

Mike, there is another thread in here somewhere that says all colours apart from the Hethel Yellow, which is a flat yellow, will have a small metallic hint in them. It’s more likely that for the first editions, to ramp up production and get everything working as it should, it’s ideal not to have...

Its all gone rather quiet from the dealers, has anyone been given dates when they will be able to see the cars and get finalised brochures/prices in the Uk? I was provisionally told it would be around the 6th September……. It’s getting rather close so it’s hard to imagine Lotus not knowing by now...
