It would be nice if Lotus could distribute some of these to their dealer network as for many of us the extra viewing dates were simply announced too late to fit a visit in, but seeing these up close would be rather helpful.

Glad youve got your call. Had mine last week and was told my delivery would probably be late Q3 to Q4, so no idea. We’ve just gotta wait regarding deliveries but I think Summer for us is a little bit optimistic. The deposit so far is fully refundable and you should be able to make changes...

I was thinking that the rear quarter looked a little high in some photos but looked absolutely amazing at the roadshow, I don’t think pictures do the car any justice. To me, photos seem to compact the car somewhat. I suppose they need a certain minimum roof height or they’d have to fit GT40...

Be careful, they might just be included in the FE US spec

I’m avoiding the show spec car, not too keen on all the batteries in the boot or the EV buggy motor……

Is that the verdant green, it really doesn’t look anything other than black ? It looks even darker than the sample.

It’s only 1.5 - 2% heavier for the auto box. I know in reality I probably won’t be able to tell the difference.

It will be very interesting to see how things develop with AMG. For me, it’s a case of starting with a V6 and waiting to see how the new engine partnership develops, and what upgrades come along, by which time we might just be able to test drive one if they don’t keep selling them all !!

360 is for the AMG i4, 400 for the already used V6 Toyota

The official line from Lotus Is that the V6 will have 400HP. Several comments made earlier at Goodwood etc said it would be 416, so assume 400 and if it’s a bit higher, happy days 😁

Absolutely spot on with the Mazda Soul Red, it’s a stunning deep red and just glistens in sunlight. It would be an incredibly popular choice if they can get even remotely close.

The car doing the showroom tour doesn’t have an engine in I believe, so it’s only representative of a production model. The crash test cars are probably being built as of now.

It sounds like own build i4’s might have an even longer wait, on TLF people are saying the FEi4’s have now been put back to the start of 2023, so it’s fair to assume own specs will be even longer.

850HP isn’t much use on UK back roads, or even a decent track, without significant downforce. I’ll take Lotus handling over ultimate HP

I’ve run into a bit of a dilemma folks. After countless thoughts and configurations, I know I’ll be having either the V6 auto or I4 with DCT. Everyone says just how awesome the DCT will be but theres a V6 with 50 HP more, so for those existing lucky owners with a recent Evora auto, has it...

It will be interesting to see if the I4 FE will have the option of leather wheel with coloured inserts. I imagine the flappy paddles would be identical to those on the V6 auto, so can’t see any reason why the steering wheel options won’t be the same. Sincerely hope that’s the case.

Can I have mine without front number plates please, the demo car looks so good without them 🤷‍♂️ And i’m happy to go to Hethel if it saves on delivery…..

After investing £100million, or thereabouts, into a new production facility, and knowing just what a design they had in front of them, it seems highly unlikely that Lotus didn’t expect a much larger demand than for previous models. I wonder if some of the hesitancy giving I4 info might be down...

PaulP, I understand your frustration with Lotus not giving the prices for the AMG powered FE cars even if they wont be available for a few months to spec. They must know the price seeing as the base price is based upon an I4 engine only. Please Lotus, just release the I4 FE cost so we can make...
