Just like everyone I was hoping for to collect my Emira in June / July given my deposit date ( 7-7-21 ) , I am currently enjoying my S1 Elise and have now excepted it will be more like Aug/Sept/Oct before I collect the car I have decided to just be patient . not my normal default position...

No , emailed customer care today and was told production in August and collection in September . First deposit 7-7-21 , more than happy to wait .

I changed from yellow brake callipers to silver and was told this added one month ! with all the delays happening now it seems like I may be September ? deposit 7th July

Same deposit date as me , I think I will be looking at September ! I hope

This is great news , i hope to pick my car up from the factory some time in July I have been told that this will be a option that will be made available 30 days before collection and at final payment.

I have specked NG , blk pack , Show car wheels, Silver callipers , blk Alcantara with yellow sticking . I changed callipers recently and I moved from June to July delivery !

What do people think about how important it is to build a working relashenship with the dealer ? i like the idear of a factory collection but i am mindful that the dealers are going to struggle in the future due to the way the sales are being processed and i think the dealers are important going...

Tom, in reply to your question regarding my delivery date , i have had no confirmation on this from customer care so far . they did confirm my deposit date and time of 07-07-21 @ 04.18 , i assume june but would of course like to know for sure. Many thanks for all you input on this forum.

Emailed customer care this week to change calliper colour to silver , was told this should not change delivery / build slot. I placed deposit on 7th July and have paid the two deposits so fingers crossed all will be well ?

I completely agree , I have owned several Lotus cars and understand that some people will think the car is moving away from some Corr values ! The new Emira will attract lots of new buyers and that’s needed for the company to survive so I wish Lotus all the best .

Yes went to see Emira at Bell & Covill , the car is every bit as good as I expected . I did not like the blue on show but that’s my view !

I paid my first deposit early hours of the 7th July , have paid second deposit . I have only ever received a email ?
