As I questioned in post #666 it might be that some early models were actually shipped with the 340w system rather than with the 560w system. I don't know of any way to easily check.

Yep - standard on mine in UK & not changed any setting.

As a few others do, I position the mains cable to the CTEK at the side of the rear hatch and balance the charger on the supercharger cover. When the rear hatch is fully closed it still does not pinch the cable - you can even move the cable with the hatch closed.

Hi - I'm surprised you couldn't get a quote from NFU as I'm insured with them for V6 auto. Problem with NFU you have to go through an NFU agent so I suppose it depends on your local agent etc.

When was your car built ? Wondering how long it takes for any blistering to become visible.

I have no idea of the wattage of the system I have or whether Lotus ever delivered any vehicles with the lower advertised system. My car was built June 23. For all I know it could have been a typo in the original docs or changed to the higher wattage before production began.

I agree with others that the KEF system is OK especially if you push the bass & treble over to the right to about 9 or even 10... Maybe us Brits have a lower standard. Yes it's black & white but still OK to read. The original pdf has some color on the various diagrams. Saves scrolling through the pdf on the phone while in the car though.

Lotus no longer provides the full main handbook and wants a ridiculous £199 for a printed version. The latest pdf version is here https://www.lotuscars.com/en-GB/emira-handbook which includes references to future features / options not on the FE.

That's good news. I have noticed that mine seems to drop voltage of around 0.1 volts in 24 hours. This could be due to the tracker drawing a current. I do keep mine on trickle charge most of the time. Maybe the 70 ah battery fitted is on the low side with all the electronics etc.

Try using Google Lens to take a picture & see if it identifies it. Have had success before using this technique to identify parts.

I think you'll be pleased with the V6 auto. I have found the gear change plenty responsive with the paddles and love the way it will downshift 2 gears with kick down; and as others have said the V6 engine noise definitely improves with more burbles etc after 1000 miles.

Just happened again for me this morning. The only possible correlation is it seems to happen to me when I have unlocked the car & left it for 10 mins or more before starting the engine. Again had to lock the car & wait 10 mins for the reset to occur.

All I did was lock the car & leave it for 5-10 mins & it cleared. Fortunately fault has not occurred since 🤞

Ditto - Happened to me on Tues. Car stored in a dry garage. Software updates about 3 weeks ago. Started fine after locking & leaving for 10 mins. Life would be so much easier for everyone if s/w updates could be over the air to save clogging up the dealers etc. & having to waste time visiting them!

I had exactly the same parking brake error today after 900 miles saying parking break service required. Pressing start did nothing other than heard a few clicks. Locked the car left it for 5 mins. Then after started fine, no warnings. The car had been in a dry garage, not washed & not been out...

I had a similar problem with the tracker not installed. Scorpion advised me to take the car a drive with the tracker tag. After the drive the tracker had changed to installed Status. So you could try that.

I have an auto & had it a couple of times when the car has not been started for a few days. But it's random as I can leave the car for a week & then it will start just fine.

I thought there was a software fix a few weeks ago that pressurized the fuel via fuel pump running briefly when the doors were unlocked, but this failed to fix the problem. Wouldn't this be similar to switching the ignition on.

Just an update on this issue - It turned out to be a faulty passenger door control module which has now been replaced. Credit to Lotus for fast part delivery to my local dealer & to my dealer for quick diagnosis and resolution. I dare to write this but so far the only fault I've found 🤞

I tend to drive in manual of country lanes quite a lot in sport mode & in auto in towns, traffic & on motorways.

I have a v6 auto and not noticed and lag with the paddles.

I've had mine on the CTEK charger when not in use from day one - trying to cover all bases!
