I was not impressed by the brakes in the wet yesterday, perhaps just because it was so different from their 'grabby' feeling in the dry. I was expecting shorter braking distance and more information from the brake pedal.

😂 There are many wealthy people in London, and they drive discreet performance cars or Teslas. The Emira, especially a yellow one, is the only car that is exotic on a average drive around London. The comment I'm most likely to hear is 'Didn't anyone tell him there's a cost-of-living crisis...

I live in London and no-one bats an eyelid at my Emira. It's not that there are many cars on the road like it - people don't have any interest in cars.

I've a few photos of the car, but it's this one I keep choosing when friends ask to see a photo of it.

This plastic Emira from the key box is a nice object to have around.

It was interesting to hear Gordon Murray talk about the pinnacle of good steering, a Lotus achievement that he'd tried to reach but had always failed, as being the 60's Elan.

I'm so happy for you Javier, and Ms Bilbao looks very happy too. The shock of an Emira arrival is amazing. Until it arrives you don't realise that you're buying the most beautiful car in production, and when you see it, nothing else matters.

I kept the plastic car, but thought the box the most ridiculous bit of merch and binned the rest.

I'm happy with the privacy glass as i don't like the look of the huge frit band around the rear window, and the privacy glass hides it.
