To me it's all about how the car makes you feel, knowing you'll buy it even before you've driven it, like eating with your eye's! All about sensation and not statistics, horsepower etc. Just having fun and feeling happy!

Just received a phone call from Lotus, advising a new build slot for Nov with delivery Dec 2022 (deposit paid 26/07/2021) have been told I can change whatever I like and my slot should not be affected, great news....wasn't expecting that, might just delete Homelink, change Callipers and wheels...

Just scratched my Emira itch for a second time, Mazda Mx5 BBR 300, love the E86 (Z4) but really fancied a convertible, if anyone is interested the Z4 is available, a great stop gap car that is retaining its value well.... Future classic.

I have the same, initial deposit 26th July. Last notification Dec build, late December /early January delivery..... Who knows when now! 😥

Would it be a good idea for someone to create a "new post/thread" that can be updated to confirm what demo cars are at each of the dealerships? Might help some to see the car in similar spec to what they have ordered?

Told by Endeavour in Colchester, Essex, that they expect 2 cars by the end of August, one for demo purposes the other showroom only, can't understand a showroom only car and what that achieves?

I was advised last week that my build slot was now Dec, possible delivery late Dec/Jan 2023! 26th July 2021 deposit placed.

Great fun, sold the m2c in readiness for the Emira, didn't know the wait would be so long! In all honesty more fun and sense of speed than the m2c! Highly recommended 👍👍

This may be a little "left field" and I do not have experience of either of the cars to testify to their abilities...i leave that to the pro's, but I am sure that I have read on many occasion that as an "out and out" drivers car the Cayman is the best out there, even better balanced/road use/day...

Was also considering the red leather, saw it on the tour.... Not overly offensive and could look great! But decided for the ice grey.. The safer bet in my opinion👌

Black wheels, really did look special and sort of menacing....caught the light really well to create a range of shades, a great choice for those that have configured this colour and worked well with the black pack that I have omitted from my Magma spec.

I saw Nimbus with full black pack last week, looked fantastic nearly changed my config!

Having seen this very car at Hethel, I would say its a pretty accurate representation of the colour, amazing!

The car I saw yesterday, pictures don't do it justice, even my wife couldn't stop commenting on it, swayed my configuration after seeing it!

I would say the 3rd picture is best representative, it reminded of Rovers Mini, 200,400 series etc.... Nightfire Red Pearlescent, which is maybe a strange reference, but the paintwork really "pops", saw it on the road in Potash Lane from about 200 yards with the sun beating down on it.....really...

Went on the Tour yesterday, seats still in development stage, all issues will be resolved I am sure, spoke to Steve the main seat technician, they are still tweaking support/comfort etc. I believe their commitment to quality will be without compromise. The leather quality did look exceptional!

The car I would say is a slightly deeper and more luxurious depth to it, you Magma lovers are in for a treat!
