I have one of their intakes & plenum on my m3 v8 and can commit to the build quality My only question is why does the Rev limiter / drop off kick in @ lower revs with the intake fitted ? Or am I being dumb ?

Yeah that’s the tray recess I mentioned it doesn’t seem to do anything I think it’s some module not loading or glitching more than the actual signal from the key But that’s just my thoughts

For ref I’ve had the software update - still the same imo it’s either some of the tech not booting in sequence causing the ecu to hang , a loose antenna cable or another symptom of battery issues (car battery not the fob battery that’s already been replaced )

Tbf had this since day 1 (may 23) the fob opens car , get in car, go to start car nothing or no key in car warning - ignition won’t work Had various updates and new fob battery - last Feb 24 Still happens But workaround is Unlock multiple times when approaching until wing mirrors fold out...

Is this a thing on the emira ? I know on other makes of car you hold the unlock button to open windows , and lock to close them

Unfortunately only 1 dealer in the area, I’m not too worried with the cars quirks , my first car was a 1989 Peugeot 205 gti and I used to have to carry a tool kit in the boot for when it broke down , which it did regularly It’s more the shit show regarding customer service and what is a £80k+...

Mines got ceramic coating on the windscreen (it was obvious it was on there after the first couple of uses with the wipers sticking / smearing slightly ) Anyway can confirm works to clear windscreen at speeds around 70ish mph when I had the wiper issue and a down pour recently on my trip up...

Mine has had some updates and the infotainment system was one of them but I didn’t notice an improvement from that to the sound quality , it’s more a bedding in process imo as the speakers loosen up The exhaust I guess is just burning some wadding through use ?

Just completed trip to Glasgow and back home - amazing drive - glad I chose the Goodyears as the m’way was a little slippy with the drizzle / rain - way more fuel efficient than I expected but could only use full revs for journey home - may just be in my head but the exhaust sounds a lot deeper...

Hi, I had a similar issue it turned out the ecu still thought the engine was running and would not allow the starter motor to engage. AA fix was ctrl/alt/delete ie unplug battery Apparently software fix due in may 🤷‍♂️ Cause was turning ignition off and on too quickly 🧐

Is it only the first editions that won’t have the new eu speed limiter thing? -that may make a difference to future residuals
