I'm trying to not pester my dealer, but has Lotus US announced the confirmation? Lotus Dallas seems to be on the more conservative side of preparing to deliver cars.

Contacted my local dealer, they haven't heard word about it yet. Still unconfirmed if this is real or Lotus Corp doesn't know about it yet.

My 2.0 order is ppf'd and sitting at the dealer. Literally once Lotus corporate gives the go ahead, they'll get a same day wire and I'll drive by to sign paperwork. I just have to remember Lotus will release the cars soon ™

They don't need more excitement, they have order books to produce for years to come already. Once cars get into the hands of regular people, it will likely only induce more demand for future orders.

My car just got ppf and ceramic coat; likely the cleanest the car will ever be. Waiting on carb currently.

It's possible they might be delaying until carb states get the 1.0 allocated cars before releasing everyone; perhaps some kind of thing for the initial 1.0 orders. My 2.0 car is already at the dealer.

That's what the ceramic coating is for, in my opinion. Keeps it looking wet paint / freshly waxed easier, as you can basically just hose it down.
