My heater fixed itself… then broke again, then fixed itself again… does that count?

What do you mean need to teach it up from down? Is there anything I can do to help before I get a software update?

She was was chuffed but my son was less than pleased and in the background he had a minor meltdown at the dealership! As for dragging my daughter along - she’s been getting stuck in / dragged along for years!

It’s been pretty wet and slippy out there so currently I’m happy to be taking it easy… we’ll easyish at least.

Run in complete… I’ve been slowly increasing the revs and the load over the last 100 miles. I a till haven’t gone about 5,000 rpm at all. I’m not going to just go for it straight away either as I can still remember blowing up a TVR Tuscan S engine 20 years ago just after carefully running it...

I started getting the notifications but hadn’t realised it was related to my phone… it’s a little annoying that it says connected and disconnected whenever I get in the car… I’m sure I can turn that off somewhere… Thx for the heads up :-)

I’m with you. I’ve loved every one of my 900 and something miles so far. Are the windows too noisy? Maybe but I’m not certain on that… the heater gremlins are annoying but they’ll get that fixed and it’s not stopping me having fun. I’ve had a seatbelt stick once but it solved itself quickly...

Hmm, I’ll try that but I don’t think it’s quite the same. My air just comes out of the foot vents at full blast and full heat. No buzzing and no control over them temp… It’s working at the moment so I’m leaving it be. Only 30 more running miles till the magic 1,000 is up :-)

With regards to the warranty, @TomE do you have any contacts at Lotus who would go on the record about such a mod being acceptable? Does anyone know what were Lotus’s views on the same mod on previous cars?

I’ve ordered one already. I had an email from Komotec and they needed a National Insurance number for shipping… sounds like you may get an extra tax bill as well as a voided warranty in the process! Cost inc delivery to the UK was €312. I’ll keep you all posted how I get on…

It’s a real shame that early customers aren’t being looked after very well… the questionable aftercare was a big reason why I chose a Lotus instead of McLaren… Let’s hope they up their game very quickly.

Heating fixed itself! I just went out for a short spin today and as soon as I started it up I knew it was “fixed” as air was blowing towards me… I’ll cancel my garage appearance as I’d rather save up any intermittent issues for if/when I have another issue. :-)

Sounds v similar. When you say eventually you turned all the vents on at once was that because you just changing the settings or did it just start working? With the front vents you can turn them off (at least I think you can) by setting them all the way sideways. Did you try that and could that...

I don’t think that’s the case. I think I’m unlucky in this instance. I was an early deposit and so the window to change the order was closed a long time ago. They should/will be getting better.
