From looking at the handbook, I think you’re supposed to push down the gear gater to remove it from the surround. Then pull up the surround to up clip the two tone plastic from the middle. Then the button is meant to be accessible… at least that’s what I think. But don’t want to break anything.

I had the same issue here… I left it 20 mins with the key out of range and it started right up.

There are definitely plenty of happy/lucky owners of which I am one… I’ve had a few minor bits which will get done with the first service (due September this year) but the car has been brilliant - it hasn’t been off the road once since my December delivery day. 3,800 happy miles and rising.

Not really. From what I’ve read the manufacturer can’t just invalidate the warranty for the whole car for a non-OEM part on a non- related part of the car. They can invalidate the warranty on the rest of the exhaust system, but that’s not a real concern for me. I don’t believe they can...
