    Gain sensitivity, but lose control and modulation of throttle. I don't rate these 'gimmicks' at all. All they do is increase throttle input compared to pedal input.     Yes warranty work by Lotus dealer for the common paint blistering issue (though I'm sure they outsource the work to a local body shop). The paint is not the worst part, it's the loose door trim and wind noise from removing and refitting all the door trims.

    Not sure on the technical law of removing an emissions control device (cat) that was factory installed. But you'll most likely get away with it and pass an MOT test.

    Be aware of the 26 day countdown rule. 26 Days out is about the cheapest time to get a quote. As you drop down from there the prices start to creep up. Once you're at 10 days they jump up.

    You're never going to feel or measure a performance difference on the car with a +/- of 2-5Bhp on a 400bhp car. What's the percentage error on a Dyno measurement between runs? Probably larger than these 1% change in values.

    I (and many others I'm sure) will be interested to know how it compares to the McLaren 720S. My guess is the drop in performance will be significant, but hopefully the driver enjoyment will not be such a drop. I'm not sure what the McLaren rev range was like? But coming from a higher reving car...
