First my FE V6 was going to be here this spring, then November timeframe, now they say the order is going in this week and I will get the car in early 2023! I replied "At some point Lotus actually has to deliver a product". Anyway, frustrating but what can you do. I don't want anything else.

I believe the cost of my Emira FE is $96K. I have no doubt that if I took delivery and handed it to a Porsche dealer to resell (or to the Lotus dealer). you could price if for $150k and it would sell within a week or two. I only mention Porsche cause they get tons of traffic where I live.

I am getting Green and originally was going with black Alcantera with yellow stitching. Then saw the new configurator and the green is pretty dark so switched to Tan. Called my dealer. I am fourth in line in my State and was told I would get an FE. My order should go in around May with a Nov/Dec delivery. They hope to have a car in the spring and an event for everyone to come check it out including color chips, etc. If this is repetitive info for some of you...

I agree. Nothing is better than seeing them in person. It's a leap of faith at this point.

I had configured green with the black pack and a black alcatera interior, black wheels. But once I saw the new pictures on the site, the green is pretty dark. So I got rid of the upper black pack and changed the interior to tan leather. The pictures are much better than what they had up there...

My dealer said today late 3rd Q, maybe 4 Q for delivery here in the U.S. Said English first editions would come off the line first. Said First Edition numbers have been increased but not sure by how much.

I am definitely buying one (deposit down), if it ever gets here.

Yeah, try revving your super car as you pull into a parking lot or so the crowd can hear it...you have to go to Neutral to do it. A clutch is a great thing.

I have never had a hill hold in a manual. You shouldn't need it.

I'm in corporate sales with large companies. I always try and keep my customers updated even where there is nothing new. That way they don't start getting cranky. I am psyched on getting the car otherwise I wouldn't care so much. I just can't believe they are not a little better in communication...

To me, as many have mentioned. It takes minimal effort to put out some regular communication. Even if nothing has changed. To me, extremely lacking in customer engagement.

I have one on order but no way it is a supercar. Go walk around and look at a Ferrari or Lambo or McLaren. That is not this car. This car is an English Cayman which is not a supercar. Great sports car though.

There is only one Lotus dealer in NC and that is Flow. I know I am fourth because there are only 3 people who got deposits in a head of me and I have been told I am fourth in line. I put my deposit in two days after reveal. As I think we all know, it's first come, first serve based on deposits...
