I know this will be somewhat controversial.........

Nice. If I were you I would really consider a leather wrapped steering wheel over the Alcantara. I have personal experience with Alcantara and it doesn't wear well long term, plus requires much more maintenance, brushing etc. The oils in your hands will eventually cause the wheel to become...

Thank you for the pricing explanation, appreciate it. I was getting my Canadian pricing info from Lotus's website. I just hope the prices are firm. Going with the base Edition, V6 manual.

Goto minute 11:10 for the Lotus Evora part. Who would have ever thought in a million years that your run of the mill Toyota Camry engine could ever sound this glorious. Probably is also a very reliable engine being a Toyota. It will be interesting to see how the Mercedes engine sounds in the...

You know you guys are all right, to each his own. Remember I'm just stating my opinion, just as you are all free to State yours. awe can all thank God that we live in societies where we are free to express our own opinions. I believe the manual cars will hold their values much more than the...

I know this will be somewhat controversial.........

It's all good. 😜😉🤪 I didn't even know Lotus was charging more for the Toyota V6 manual over the Mercedes automatic for pot. That isn't what my dealer told me maybe I better give him a call.

I know this will be somewhat controversial.........

In fact whenever auto journalists are reviewing a larger group of cars, whenever they get into a car with a manual, they undoubtedly comment "well isn't this great, isn't this a breath of fresh air...a proper manual transmission." Most real die-hard drivers prefer a proper manual transmission...

I know this will be somewhat controversial.........

Remember what Lotus slogan is "For The Drivers." What's interesting is if you read any reviews when they do sports car comparisons with Lotus and other sports cars, where the other cars are automatics undoubtedly the reviewer May set a faster lap time with the automatics, but when they comment...

I know this will be somewhat controversial.........

I feel that the main reason someone were to purchase a sports car is not for basic transportation from a to b, because that can be done in far less expensive, more practical cars. They buy sports cars for the simple fact that they love driving. It's the journey rather than the destination that...

    Australian pricing and specs

I can't believe how much Australians get burned on their car prices, let alone covid-19 mandates, restrictions and unbelievably long lockdowns....like a police state. And I've always read they were so down-to-earth and easy going....mates. Today's exchange rate. CDN $96,000=AUD $105,525...

Emira....hold its value or even appreciate??

All I can say is here in Canada they stopped importing Lotus cars a long time ago except for the Evora and when you look at the prices here even for very old Elise's and Exiges cell for unbelievable prices. In the Autotrader nation wide there are only 16 Lotus cars for sale. Looks like many of...

Any chance Lotus having auto rev match on the manual Emira?

This really explains auto rev-match and it's benefits well.

Emira....hold its value or even appreciate??

I'm just curious if you gentlemen feel that since the Emira is the last internal combustion sports car Lotus will produce, that it will hold its value well or even appreciate in the future?? I guess it really depends on how many they actually produce of this final car.

Any chance Lotus having auto rev match on the manual Emira?

Does anyone know if the Emira will have a drive by wire throttle? If so then this product is an option.

Any chance Lotus having auto rev match on the manual Emira?

I think auto rev-match should remain our priority, but shift lights would also be nice. I have both on my Hyundai Veloster N. If Hyundai can offer them then Lotus should be able to offer them on a much more track focused car where they are needed most.

    I do have a concern.

Thanks for the feedback, and the reassurance. Personally, I don't think there's many cars out there that have a rougher ride than the Ford Focus RS, it maybe champion in that department. The amazing thing I find when reading all the reviews on Lotus cars, Evora in particular is that they...

Any chance Lotus having auto rev match on the manual Emira?

Thanks Tom much appreciated. I don't mind heel-toeing myself, but some days you just don't feel like it, but want the benefits of very smooth downshifts. I also personally think adding this feature would add to their customer base. Also, thinking about what one member said about putting less...

    Seen the Emira live.

I'm also leaning toward the Seneca blue with the black roof and mirrors. Most common folk in Canada really have no idea what Lotus cars are like, so I'm going to have some fun with my buddies at the tennis club. Undoubtedly someone will ask me the price, and I'm going to pull his leg and say...

    Keeping a Lotus outside

Unfortunately I'm in the same boat I don't have a garage and will have to park my Emira on the driveway. I'm thinking about getting one of these. Something is better than nothing at least it will protect the car from the elements rain snow dust.

Any chance Lotus having auto rev match on the manual Emira?

I really hope Lotus will have Auto rev matching as an option for the Emira. I have it on my Hyundai Veloster N and it works flawlessly, and when I downshift aggressively it sounds brilliant, and the active exhaust pops and burbles. I should also add that the pedals in the Veloster N are horrible...

    I do have a concern.

In 2016 I made a big mistake and purchased a Ford Focus RS sight unseen without having test-driven one. I had to go out of state to get it and once having returned, I instantly regretted the purchase due to the extremely harsh ride quality, and that was even in the most comfortable setting. It...

    Seen the Emira live.

Thanks gents. Can't wait. Lotus legendary handling in a very exotic exterior package. To me the Emira has to be the most supercar looking of any if it's cars, with an internal combustion engine.

Any chance Lotus having auto rev match on the manual Emira?

I know Porsche and many other auto manufacturers have added auto rev match on their manual transmissions. Last year I bought a Hyundai Veloster N and it has auto rev matching, and I'm very glad it does, because the pedals are not set up very well at all for heel and towing. My Ariel Atom was...

I was just wondering if anyone on this chat Forum has seen a Lotus Emira live in person? And if so does, it look just as good in person as it does in pictures and videos?
