From what I saw at the factory last week and alignment should be spot on , huge amounts spent on kit to check at every stage , granite floors put in to get it just right and cut out vibration from the factory, I would be surprised if anything was out of line

Sorry no update, I did start to probe about delays and reasons including auto but they would not commit or comment. I think they are very aware that things shared get posted online so I just focused on enjoyed the tour

I got the impression this was when they are at full production, I am sure they will have based the current delivery dates around the production levels.

Have your emailed CS ? I have done so today and I am an Oct build / Nov delivery, they have advised no further delay and Oct/Nov is still happening

I tried pretty much every car when needing boot space for my dads wheelchair, ended up buying a Dacia Duster . Wheelchair fitted easily and at £15k new on the road it was a steal. Very few SUV have any boot space unless you go really large ( and expensive)

Yes good to get something, all signs that everything is on track but will not be sure until we start to see cars going to dealers for demo and people start getting calls.

CS update today , all is still on track with previously advised dates. ( Oct build, Nov delivery for me) Demo cars to arrive by end Sept. Email asking for preferences coming 'soon'.

Can I put in a request for a black nose badge rather than yellow. I have changed it on all of my other cars . Not sure why this is not a no cost option .

Posts on this thread stopped talking about delivery dates after the emails we had a couple of weeks a ago as we had something to cling on to . The problem now is that we can all see the dates slipping again. The fact that dealers still have no idea when their cars will arrive does not bode well...

Very complicated which is why I never bothered . Invalidated the warranty and had to be reset every six attempts then dealer reset after 20 if the car was still in one piece !

No launch control on the manual ? that being said I never used it once on my Exige !

Reading though the manual ( I know its sad ) but I could not find anything about the speed limiter there is a section on the standard one but the one linked to the local speed limit which is being installed on all new cars ? Maybe its the same thing but just want to know how to switch it off!

My local dealer advising that we will be sent a link from Lotus direct to book test drives rather than via the dealer

The recent email said that Lotus would be ' inviting us to test drive very soon' so reads that they are sorting it but my local dealer has a list already that they have made

I know I am a bit slow ( and probably old fashioned) but why would you pay these rates when loans are readily available from banks , Tesco etc for 3.2% up to £25k . If you need more then take out two loans, so £50k. If you need to borrow more than £50k then I would worry about financing so much...
