    Wiper speed issue

Does anyone know what wiper blades the Emira takes? I’ve been unable to find it in the manual. I have PPF windscreen protection and the wiper does not move well over it so I want to replace with silicon blades before I hit any serious rain. This combined with the wiper issue would be a nightmare.

What Will Lotus Show At Goodwood 2023?

Lotus will not be revealing any new models at Goodwood this year, I heard that from MW himself. Doesn't exclude new colours or the i4 which I have no idea about, I didn't ask him.

DV just doesn’t look like that, even under studio lighting I doubt it would. The photos look over exposed., the wheels look blown out (at least on my phone, on the laptop they look better). I have DV and have lived with it under blue sunny skies and grey ones and everything in between. Here it...

i4 FE - When are we going to see it? Getting annoyed

It's cheaper because the V6 needs to be stripped down in places and modified, this takes a lot longer and adds a lot of cost. Labour is a major factor in cost.

i4 FE - When are we going to see it? Getting annoyed

Likewise the overall experience is what matters to me, and the visceral nature of the V6 will be hard to match with the i4. Matt suggested I could have both 😄 , impractical in my case, no space and a little excessive. But the point is they're different experiences and feel like different cars to...

i4 FE - When are we going to see it? Getting annoyed

It's cheaper because it's cheaper to build, the assembly time is significantly lower than the V6

i4 FE - When are we going to see it? Getting annoyed

I was lucky to spend many hours with MW a few weeks ago (it wasn't planned, I lucked out). Firstly can I say what a genuinely decent and humble guy he is, that's not me being nice, that's my observation over a whole day at Hethel. Anyway, he told me the handling on the i4 is noticeably better...

    Radford Pikes Peak

I drove up Pikes Peak a few years ago, it's just outside Colorado Springs where I was for a work conference. Seem to remeber the speed limit is only 40mph! Spotted a frustrated Vantage V12 on the way up. Unfortunately the top section was closed due to snow, I think it was October.

    Creaking noise

I get this on full lock in either direction so I usually back off lock a little. I remember reading somewhere on this forum a while back that it is normal, there's even a name for it but I forget, it happens on the Evora too. But maybe this is something else?

Anyone got an Emira with zero issues?!

6 weeks and 1500 miles in, the only issue I have is the well known wiper one and the driver side air vent rattles sometimes. Hard to get a sense of if there are above average issues for a new car or not since those with issues are more likely to post which might be skewing perceptions. Without...

Emira high speed autobahn run, 0–60 tests, B road driving

I drive with the windows down all the time, little to no buffeting and not that noisy at B road speeds. I put them up if I'm consistently doing 65mph+ at which point it's noisy as expected.

Emira high speed autobahn run, 0–60 tests, B road driving

The display shows the max Gs pulled in that session and that's what it showed for either left or right, don't remember. So yes, instantaneous I expect. I wasn't looking at the gauge whilst been driven, was too busy trying to learn the track.

I'm around 1500 miles in and the Ice Grey looks new. I gave it a coat of Gtechniq Leather Guard on day 1 which is easy to apply, seems to be keeping it clean. Any marks I just take a damp cloth to it and they come off easily. I'd say it's a modern crisp look. I tried to capture more of the...

Emira high speed autobahn run, 0–60 tests, B road driving

I've been in the Emira with a pro driver on track pulling 1.8 G on corners (according to the display). Hard to believe how much mechanical grip there is. You need to trial brake into tighter corners to load up the front and it will turn in beautifully.

Spotted: Emiras seen in the wild

Done 1400mi in mine so far, mostly in Hertfordshire, but also the midlands and Wales, never seen another one on the road whilst in my Emira or in any other car! I don't think it'll ever be common sight.

📓 Journals 1300 miles ownership experience

When braking the pedal becomes lower than the throttle so you have to really pull your heel back to blip. The pedals are too far apart for me to use the side of my foot, I've tried this only to have my foot slip off the brake. Strangely when I drove an Emira at LDA it was easier to H&T than my...

Just joined, Brilliant car had since 28/4/2023, done 1350 miles some issue perhaps you can help.

on the leather bolsters, use a leather protector like Gtechniq L1 Leather Guard, easy to apply and is keeping my Ice grey looking like new, both in terms of colour and lack of abrasion with over 1k miles done.
