Reached to my dealer, and the response “ I also followed up do I really need to get battery disconnected. According to detail guy, his rationale and based on his experience ( not Lotus) some cars have codes that will show up ( mirrors and handles being unplugged)

I am going to get my Emira PPF et al . It will take 2 weeks according to my detail guy. He will need to unplug the handles and side mirrors to get the best PFF coverage. He will have to disconnect the battery to avoid any code issues once he reconnects versus if it remains on tender. Has anyone...

I understand your concerns ie dealer 1.5 hrs away, your DD and no loaner. That would also be hard for me to decide. Regardless, I hope you make the right decision, best of luck!

Anyone here recommends closed container transport. I’m based in NY. Car is coming from CT 100 miles from my home. Please include ho much did it cost you. Suffice that service must be excellent ie car no damage, no issues 😊 thank you

My “special cars” have PPF, just gives me peace of mind. It’s expensive but I thought it’s worth my investment. I live in NY and you know how crazy the drive is 😀
