Just got this from GRP Hi David, The ECU connection is really only needed for gauge display and datalogging. Map 2 will function without it still.

Did the same. You have to download the app that cost about $35(australian). Then it will work. Cost me 2 hours of my life till I worked that out.

Just a quick one. Once the cables are all installed, is that when you fire up the app? Also. Is the app and easy sync with the blue tooth dong in the unit? Once the app is fired up is it just a simple start button fire up of the engine and she's good to go?
