I don't disagree that the wiper issue is serious and should have been fixed already, I've had to pull over in heavy rain because I cannot see out, but a class-action law suit is pushing it... even by America's standards ;)

950 miles in and no crumbles either, I'm in Sussex too and tour suspension was absolutely the right choice!

The Emira has the best front view for me. The F8 Tributo the best rear.

My windscreen was cracked by a stone last weekend. Luckily no bodywork damage and the crack is not eye level. Contacted my insurance this morning to claim for a replacement. Do you know whether there's any special technology in the windscreen that would make replacing it a problem?

Collected my Emira last month, and the wipers only operate on one speed setting. I got caught in heavy rain the other day out driving and had to pull over. I will sit tight and await a fix same as you.

Lotus add them to your final invoice to be paid in full a few days before your delivery or collection. Also don't forget £2365 Road tax for the first year and £55 registration fee, also added to the checkout and final invoice from Lotus.

Many thanks Tom. It may interest you and others to know that Manning came out on top. They were £250 cheaper than LV [the next best quote] for exactly the same policy cover, excess and t's & c's..... it turns out Manning are also underwritten by LV :)

Congrats! My checkout was a fortnight ago and I am due to collect my car next week after it arrived at the dealer this morning. You're on the home straight now and I'm also pleased to say that the updates from Lotus since the checkout have improved enormously, there have been no issues at all :)

Just to let you know that I completed my checkout on 9th March and the car is being delivered to my local dealer this week! They just told me it could take up to a week to complete the PDI and ceramic coating, and should be ready to collect as early as the end of next week, which makes it 3...

It actually took just over 3 weeks to get my checkout email in the end [not 2] so hang in there....I'm sure it will be any day now!

Plenty for sale on autotrader. I reckon you could bag one for close to list price if you push hard enough, not enough demand out there to pay overs and it would save you a long wait too. Good luck!

I get what you mean. The service plan probably won't save me anything, I already checked this with the dealer, but it will protect me against price rises and inflation, and seeing as it can be transferred should I have to sell within the 3 yr period, I thought it was still worth having. I...

I have opted for delivery to Lotus Sussex, my closest dealer. They use a detailing company locally who does it, can 't recall the name but they told me they are excellent and much better than going for the option from Lotus

Thanks. That's helpful. I heard the ceramic paint protection from Lotus wasn't great also, not sure who they use, but my Lotus dealer revealed to me that they have different but similarly priced options and can do a much better job. I will probably go with them instead. Could be worth you...

You're in exactly the same position as me! Production this month and delivery in April. Price protected too. Have you already had the Enhance and Protect options email from Lotus?

The blue fleck looks great in my opinion.
