Interestingly whilst the 992 is a little longer than the Emira its a fair bit narrower so i'd say very comparable in size. Emira is longer and wider than an Evora. We all think 911's have got too big but actually they are still not big by current standards and certainly feel nimble on the road.

You will see a GT430 at some point but you will pay a lot of money for it. The gearbox can't reliably handle more than that.

Err, you do know this is a Lotus? Every body panel is GRP on top of an aluminium glued tub and galvanised steel subframe to carry engine transmission, just like every lotus for the past 26 years. Maybe watch Harrys Garage video on YouTube of his factory visit

Simply drilling a hole where one was not designed to be would be a very amateur approach to a manufacturing fault. If water regularly makes contact with bare glass fibre it will penetrate the structure. Did Lotus actually suggest this could be a long term fix?

Correct unless its full epoxy with closed strand. Any gelcoat will bubble and pop off if it can penetrate the structure.

It’s a standard Lotus knob. ALl elises and Exige have these and they feel unfinished when new. It’s one area they have clearly just carried over, not looked at and thought that one extra process and it would feel better.
