Cancelled on 3rd March. They repaid £2k of my deposit within 10 days but still have £3k. I have chased by email several times with no response and been hanging on forabout 20 minutes. Obviously their callback facility is overwhelmed or doesnt work.

all discs rust if they get wet and are not used. If you are using it , shouldn't be a problem. Just don't leave it outside for months unused. I suspect this was caused by some cars being almost complete months ago, stored outside but waiting for parts.

To be clear, under your consumer rights, your contract is with Lotus Cars not the dealer. Lotus cars have the liability to correct this. I hope they get you a replacement car as soon as they can schedule one. They should provide a courtesy straight away.

Noise is relative and 992’s have road noise but to my ears the Emira is definitely louder .

Magma in overcast dark conditions looks pretty dark, but in sunny conditions really pops and looks amazing. I changed to Magma having seen it in the flesh. Only colour I would take in preference would be a pearlescent white!

It's the same as my Elise. It's either drill or laser cut and they don't then apply any extra finishing so feels sharp initially but after a couple of thousand miles it loses its edges so is fine. That said all metal gear knobs are not great from a temp point of view.

Well I drove a 911 c4s in the very cold temps last week and it didnt give me the confidence I thought it should. The EMira feels super planted in comparison. The Video was definately an 8 /10 and for an all round daily possibly higher. The wind noise on the autobahn is hardly a problem!!

It felt grabby to me in comparison to the C2 Cab I drove recently. The Emira does give more feel and confidence than either though.
