Science is a process. It doesn't change. It is not a business in any way. If it's not followed then the results can't be called scientific. People may claim scientific findings, but false claims can quickly be disproven.

I don't think the Emira will draw in many "tuners". The Lotus crowd has traditionally been about mountain driving, autocrossing, HPDEs, etc. To me the tuner crowd is always about big wheels, big turbos, big subwoofers, slammed suspensions, underbody neon, over the top body kits, and sitting...

I doubt Lotus is even considering the "tunability" of the I4. The tuner crowd in the Lotus community is very, very tiny. Its not worth extra marketing or development for a handful of extra sales it might generate.

If I had to try to predict the future, I would guess the 2023 models will all be FEs. Mostly V6s but a few I4s will trickle in too. The 2024 model year will see the base I4, the base V6, and the 430 Cup which will be the last of the V6s and have a lot of GT4 goodies. Model year 2025 will see...

And I'm assuming that most folks who choose the V6 are also choosing the manual transmission, so the automatic V6s will actually be the most rare models.

Did anyone else catch this little tidbit in the EVO review? Apparently the last V6 model will be the 2024 430 Cup. I'm assuming there will also be a base model 2024 Emira V6.
