I do worry about that, although as a Porsche owner, I've had to get a few parts ordered for various things on cars under warranty, and about half of those few parts had to come from Germany... so as long as they are put on a plane and not a boat, its usually a couple weeks all in.

Dunno about UK, in the US, Aston's do not hold their value well... outside of Manual V12's in the Vantage line. Advantage for buying used though.

I bailed on the Vantage when they introduced the new version. Looks being subjective, I thought the giant mouth was a fail, squinty head lights a fail, and the interior didn't inspire either. The huge mouth in mesh form has grown on me since so many other manufacturers do something similar...

Not blaming Tom at all on this one, I think its laughable that Lotus would want to put a pin in a customer Emira video to allow for the Eletre video... So is the supposition from Lotus that NO ONE will watch both? That Emira deposit holders that may consider the Eletre will have to choose one...

Bellevue had a 5K deposit initially, and 10K at the time of confirmed FE build slot. I wasn't going to share on here in my initial comment, but since someone else already mentioned it, that's how we got there. I don't know what they are doing deposit wise for non-FE slots.

I asked my dealer about test drives actually earlier this week, Lotus of Bellevue, and they apparently have not been told by Lotus US when they'll get the demo for test drives yet either.

That was my point... I didn't expect Lotus Marketing to have any other take than to highlight the best bits, that's their job. Like you, interested if there is any processing of the less flattering feedback internally in a way that would impact the product in the near term.

If you mean why they chose those 4 reviews to highlight?... Unfortunately my guess would be its because they contained the 4 most positive statements they could find... full review not withstanding. I will say, I can imagine Lotus were in a bind with needing/wanting reviews out before customer...
