Well, FE 1.0, July 11th deposit... no gift here either. In a CARB state, but can't see why that would confuse mailing a package from Michigan... GD Lotus makes it hard to trust that after sales support/service won't be a complete and total fail...

yeah, for those of us in the US, sending a key fob to China or Japan is asking a bit much for a key fob cover.

Has anyone found something like the above Witham Cars Diary key fob cover? Doing the conversion, at 22,000 Yen, that's $150 US for a key fob cover... that seems a little bit crazy.

I think the bumber "bumps" is the last remaining hold your breath moment for what the US spec car looks like. Hoping whatever they are can be easily removed. The ones on the Aston Vantage are comically bad... really hoping its not like those 🙏

As mentioned, Lotus of Bellevue did send me a hot wheel with a cheeky note saying "We know this isn't the Emira you hoped to be receiving". I appreciate the gesture. News out of the dealership is US/Canada FE's (the first 700) are being built now, and will all ship over together and be stored...

Just finished watching TST review. Matt is a huge Porsche fan and owner (as am I) and yet still a very positive review for all the same reasons I placed my order. Sadly, the wait is seeming EVEN longer now ;)

Yeah, if my tan leather seat looks like that after 400 miles, Lotus is replacing the seat. I have 2 Porsches with leather (18 way adjustable sport seats) not the buckets, one with 70K miles, the other with 4500 miles, no sagging what so ever. Had a 2014 Aston Martin Vantage S. Finer leather...

I really hope those are easily removed. If its like the ones on the Aston Vantage, they are comically ugly... but taking them off in the Vantage's case doesn't leave too much of a sign that they were ever there.
