Just came across this thread. I'm SoCal based (near Pasadena). Chose to place a deposit with Boardwalk Lotus in Redwood City because I had heard the wait lists for the SoCal dealers (Galpin and Eurocar) were very long and they were potentially putting a ADM on top of MSRP.

As I’m new to Lotus, I don’t know the answer to this. Do Lotus dealerships offer a leasing option and if so, any idea of current deals?

Possibly, but I've heard that other dealerships are planning to add ADM to cancelled cars based on their expectation that there will be sufficient "I want it now" demand to justify it.

Or EarthMotorsports just gained another car to sell with ADM :(

Thanks for the explanations. I suspect the quicker and more efficient shifts in the DCT also helps explain the AMG’s slightly faster 0-60 time.

Does anyone know the differences between the automatic transmissions available with the v6 vs. the i4 AMG other than the # of gears (6 vs. 8) and presumably the gear ratios?

Did Galpin indicate they would sell you the i4 at MSRP? I had heard that some of those on the wait list for the V6 FE were told there would be a dealer markup of ~ $20K.

Is that to say that one is not allowed to drive the car in Spain until you have the plates? In California, we have temporary plates fixed to the car when we take delivery. The permanent plates come a little later, but there are no restrictions on driving the car with the temp plates.

That's a shame. For those that are curious, here is what the status board showed in October '22 when Harry did his factory tour video. The daily figures were pretty low back then, which was before a second shift was added.
