My actual order was submitted to Lotus by the dealer on March 7. I was originally told to expect delivery in September/October, but today learned to expect it in November.

My dealer told me that Lotus has stated they will begin U.S. deliveries in November and first editions will run through January - February.

Or that dealer doesn’t have any additional allocation to yield a more timely delivery…

It must be an April Fool’s Day joke…the Z06 website is still active (https://www.chevrolet.com/upcoming-vehicles/2023-corvette-z06), as is the Z06 configurator (https://visualizer.chevrolet.com/ui?carline=corvette&modelyear=2023&brand=chevrolet&language=en&country=US&channel=b2c).

I’m paying a markup at Lotus of Glenview (just north of Chicago)…I’m rolling the dice a bit, but I didn’t want another GT4 - and even if I went for a 718 GT4 instead, my wait could be longer and/or the markup appears to be at least as much.

My order was submitted on March 8, 2022; initial deposit date was June 21, 2021. I’m told to expect an October/November 2022 delivery.
