Meaning they said they have no VIN for you yet and they're assuming it's getting loaded onto the third ship?

How many ships are delivering the FE 1.0 allocations? Is it 3 total and one hasn't left yet? I'm wondering because my dealer said my VIN was not on the boat. Which I'm also glad because the later is arrives the less it's sitting at the dealer being a show piece for others 😅

I still chuckle throughout the day remembering how everyone overnight became CARB experts and tried to convince everyone it would be illegal for the vehicles to leave the ports without the certifications. I'll miss these conversations.

Does anyone else feel uneasy about the car sitting around for up to 2 months until CARB approval (assuming it's at the back of January worst case scenario)? For my dealership I have very little confidence it won't be constantly messed with by people dropping by to check them out 😅.

So what's the preferred route for this forum? Just don't post stuff you hear about and only rely on self-designated Lotus experts to give info? I'm use to other forums where people didn't take things too serious and everyone liked getting updates no matter who they came from.
