Shirakawa-Go seems to be full and/or pricey on the weekend of June 14. Hida Takayama looks like a better choice. For those joining, please book a hotel in the area for 2025/06/14 (sat). I chose the "Takayama Ouan Hotel (飛騨花里の湯 高山桜庵)", which seemed like good value.

I have not yet decided on the hotel for 2025/06/13 (fri), but plan on some place within 30 minutes of Nagashima Spa Land. The on-premise hotels are family oriented, and not suitable for single use...
順番は前後しますが、6月13日(金)の宿はまだ決めていません。ナガシマスパーランドのホテルは近くて温泉があってよいのですが、ファミリー向けであり価格帯もそれなりなので少し離れた桑名市あたりのビジネスホテルを探そうと思います。
Update: I have reserved a room for myself at the "Hotel Fine Garden Kuwana (ファインガーデン 桑名)" for 2025/06/13 (fri). For those who plan to join from Friday, please find lodging in the same area.

Day 2 --- Toyota Automobile Museum (Aichi) and wet mountain roads in Takayama (Gifu)
The museum although not large, was packed with history and beauty. A must-go for anyone visiting the area.
Exhibits were not limited to the cars themselves --- there was one corner featuring record jackets of songs that had something to do with car culture. This song from 1978 featured contained lyrics including a red Porsche.
The weather wasn't ideal, but we had a great time driving in the mountains and countryside. @Masan 's Shadow Grey, @Tokion 's Dark Verdant, and my Dark Verdant.
The rain wasn't as bad as the day before. My Dark Verdant, @Tokion 's Dark Verdant, and @khiro 's Magma Red. We spent a couple hours in the mountains together and then parted.
