My 2024 has 11,000 miles on the odometer, never tracked or punished on the street. No problems in almost 2 years of ownership.
It has an occasional sound at the top of the clutch pedal when shifting. It's reminiscent of my 66 Lotus Elan when the release bearing failed. Different drivetrain...
Update. Lotus dealership fixed the issue with front-end rattle under warranty. Apparently rattle was coming from front brakes. Had nothing to do with wear or defect in manufacturing. Car continues to make me happy every time I get behind the wheel. Long distance drives never seem long...
I drove mine 6 hours to a dealership from my remote home and had a great service experience.
It's an excuse to drive scenic roadways , devoid of traffic, with an abundance of twisty turns and breath taking landscape.
We spent a couple of nights in the city. Took my bride to dinner, visited...
My 2 cents regarding depreciation. I bought V6 FE based on prior experiences driving other Lotus vehicles. It has far exceeded my high expectations based on past ownership. I'm committed to just enjoying the incredible driving experience of the Emira. If it sells for a fraction...
Don't waste money on alternative option to KEF and upgrading aftermarket. After almost 10k miles of touring, my KEF system broke-in around 4k of driving, delivering decent sound. My ultimate hi-fi listening is in my home, not my sportscar. Congrats on your decision to buy a truly...
Drove loop from Durango CO to San Juan Islands WA, down Oregon Coast on 101. The handling and cabin comfort amazing. No mechanical issues!
Prepare for enthusiastic reactions to your beautiful car, wherever you go.
8000 miles since March 24 delivery. Occasional rattle under the hood, which could be the bonnet stick. Dealer is going to take a look when I have 10k service. Other than that minor issue, what a luxurious, responsive car!!!
The 3 year wait was long, but worth it!
I've Driven my Emira 7k miles since March.
Most recently a road-trip from Colorado to the Pacific NW. Quiet and smooth as silk on high speed Interstates. Handled like a magic carpet on the coastal twisties of Oregon. Extremely comfortable for long distance touring! The cabin seems more...
I’ve cracked my windshield twice. My dealer quoted $4k. Never had this problem with my Cayman. It’s had rock hits without damage. I wonder if Lotus is aware of this vulnerability. The car has been nothing less than amazing, with this one exception.
