I was able to press it straight down and it seems to be seated again. I'll post again if it reoccurs. Thanks everyone! I sure wish Lotus would let us set a default startup mode. It would reduce the use of that switch by like 95% for me.

Yeah I get the exact same behavior with my Android Auto as well. When I did a long road trip it would periodically disconnect throughout the trip until I plugged in.

I've noticed recently my drive mode selector switch has some play in it. It can wiggle a bit forward/backward before engaging whatever it connects to. I put the car in sport mode every time I drive so it gets use, but I'm not abusing it or anything. Anyone else have this issue?

My bad, yes you mentioned you had a V6. You're right, the software updates would be different. That's interesting and good to know about the software updates being slow to send to the car. Guess I gotta plan accordingly when I bring it in.

Let us know how the software updates go on the i4. I'm wondering if the software update is faster once they're already downloaded for a previous owner. Also, if there's any news on the transmission update or CarPlay/Android Auto disconnecting...

Have you noticed any bucking after a few weeks or does it seem the software update improved things?

I've already taken my car to South Bay Autohaus for an oil change and upgraded brake fluid. I need to go to the dealer to get my i4 softawre updates. What have been your experiences with both?

So glad to hear the bucking/lurching is fixed. I've been waiting to get my updates until this was resolved.

Awesome thanks! The clutch uses the same fluid? If so, Is this V6 specific or applies to i4 as well?

Agreed. That and the disconnecting Android Auto are the two things I'm interested in.

When the tariffs hit, I scrambled to find my build and bought my i4 a few days later. Wasn't sure how the gamble would pay off, but very happy now.
