That sounds probable. A line issue might mean a blockage, which cause a few problems. There may not be fluid to returning to the pump and damage could occur due it spinning without fluid. Also, if the blockage is on the high pressure side, a failure could occur in the pump from too much pressure...
That's a different timeline than what I got when I finalized at the end of Dec 2023 (V6 manual). I was told 4 months to production and 6-7 months for delivery. Not really surprised at this as murky communication appears to a be a Lotus hallmark. No word yet on a VIN or if the car has shipped...
That's good to know, as I submitted my build at roughly the same time as an add on FE2. I'll be on standby for communications, and will check in with my dealer if I don't hear anything by the end of the month.
Ooof... From what I've just read, it appears that many of the US cars delivered so far will likely have this issue.
There are many posts describing the resistor issues, but more worrying to me is some wiring harness issues that were mentioned. One poster with a UK car described needing a total...
Hmm, I wonder what resistors they are replacing? Cooling and then stopping sounds like a compressor or A/C system charge issue. There are resistors in the fan speed system, but that is not directly related to the actual A/C cooling apparatus.
I'm not sure if this has been covered elsewhere, but the first Emira has been listed on BAT. This to has been delivered to Lotus of Pompano Beach, but they appear to be doing business as FLC or "Ft. Lauderdale Collection". This example appears to be an FE1 car. Current bid: $98,000 with 5 days...
Interesting. I would need the MSO/Title if I were to take delivery, as my state begins to charge hefty interest on the sales tax starting 20 days or so after date on the bill of sale, depending on when in the month the purchase happened. No MSO, and you can't register or pay the tax.
From your previous posts, it looks like you submitted your order in Dec 23, which is the same as me. I was also give the same timeline for delivery, which seems to be a stock response from Lotus. No VIN yet for me either. If I don't here anything by the middle of next month, I'll check in with...
The video is probably the most horrifying. The entire bridge came down like a house of cards. I don't really want to think about the incident, but my thoughts do go out to the victims!
I saw that as well, but one of the previous posts indicated that the offload point is west of the bridge, so ships will likely have to be diverted.
In addition to auto terminals in NYC and Norfolk, there is another terminal in Quonset Point in Narragansett Bay RI that may be able to pick up...
