Long time since my last post but I do have an update.
For a brief moment I had twins on my drive.
One V6 auto (faulty) being collected for repair which will take months and replaced with a V6 manual.
I’m really looking forward to getting out and about again without the constant beeping noise...
@Davidexige I absolutely love my Emira even though I’ve just had problem after problem. My husband however has lost faith.
I mentioned an Aston Martin but he now wants to stay clear of British cars. He’s always wanted a 911. We will see what happens with the current car (refund, replacement or...
Ahh good question…I wish I was a fly on the wall in the garage when all the repairs were getting done.
From correspondence with the garage the car got a new HVAC resistor, temperature sensor and new box. Noe I assume the box is waterproof as what would be the point fixing it as it would just...
Yes, the dealership are fully within their rights to deduct milage that’s fair enough.
We had the car for 3 months, then at the garage for repairs for just over 10 weeks so according to online sources (the car expert) the timer of 6 months is paused if it’s not in owners possession i.e in the...
Lol! Opps in had no idea there was only one. Oh well 🤦🏼♀️
Thanks, those guys you mentioned wasn’t who I was in correspondence with but thanks for letting me know thry are good guys.
@Beardedbradley the car was bought from a Lotus dealer yes. I’m not comfortable naming them as I haven’t officially contacted them about the car. I just got it back on Friday there so waiting until tomorrow to contact them.
Yes the car was at Parks Hamilton. They have been really good with it all and yes they can do the fix. I chose to take the car back because we are at a bit of a cross roads. Technically because I’m within 6 months of purchase I need to give the dealership I bought from the opportunity to fix the...
I appreciate fuel to the fire - it’s smoking already with annoyance! If they are known issues then you have a very valid point. I’m giving leeway in regard to the failed steering pump is at hadn’t actually failed until I’d done at least 1500 miles but then again how common is a steering pump...
Oh my it’s just so frustrating. How long were you without your car while they did the re-wire? Only after the second wire failure did they buy it back?
I’m just deflated by the whole scenario and want to reject and get my money back but I’m past the 30 days so I think I’m fighting a losing...
Yes, I have read that thread and tried to DM the OP but for some reason it wouldn’t let me. No, I stayed clear of Auto100 due to bad reviews. Bought from a reputable dealership but I’ve been told I bought a Friday afternoon car 🙂🤦🏼♀️
Hey! I’ll try make this short but highly unlikely so prepare to read.
August 2024 I purchased a 3.5L V6 2023 plate with only 92 miles on the clock. It was a remote sale and got the car delivered via a trailer. I was told the car is perfect and there is nothing wrong with it. Once I’d...
