Just had a call from Lorenzo in CS, prepping me for further delay, January unlikely to be achieved, February likely, but as he cant say why etc then even that doesn't sound nailed on. Seems assurances from Lotus are completely worthless, like I didn't already know, oh well....

Had a quick blast out in Prestbury in monsoon like weather. Never owned a Lotus before, although did test drive an Evora many moons ago and was put off that by the weight of the clutch. Don't see much point in trying to draw comparisons to my 2 most recent motors as they are in a whole different...

Emailed CS this morning to let them know that Prestbury, my nearest dealer, now has a car and could they be so kind as to arrange me a spin as soon as is practical. Shouldn't be like this, but like everyone else am used to some of the biblically poor customer communication now.

This from CS yesterday We should be sending out an email to all deposit holders inviting you to book your test drive at your local centre very soon! We are hoping the test drive vehicles will all be delivered in the next coming weeks and the email invitation will follow. Soooooooonnnnnnnnn

So just been told the cancelled order I picked up, on a promise of November delivery, is now a January delivery as per so many others. Had to chase for the update as the CS Rep assumed I'd had the phone call, I hadn't. I asked if given the delay I would be able to change the calliper colour...

From today's noise I'd say we've all been windled.

So, email from LCS yesterday assuring me that the cancellation vehicle order I took on is in production and the goal is for November delivery. They will confirm by the end of the week, kind of expecting it to have slipped given the recent update.
