Wow, well, it's been a while. As I approach the 2nd anniversary of picking up the first ever Hethel collection Emira, figured I'd post a decent update on all things Lotus Emira! First of all, those following my car account on instagram will know I'm still loving it :)...

Mine was the first Emira (according to Lotus) to get the latest software this week, I believe it's got something to do with stop/auto hold perhaps? Car currently back at Hethel for this and a number of other things, so I can report on the software once I have it back.

Definitely lots of new parts on it, hoping it's as good as new (or better than new for mine / as good as a new one now) Should be a week roughly until it's completed and on it's way back to me... Updates then. Excited / apprehensive.

I've been very quiet on here, with good reason unfortunately. Since being the first to collect an Emira from Hethel, on 11th November 2022 - you can see from the above huge thread the initial issues I had. Lotus were great and did resolve all of these - however a lot of that experience was...

And here we are... at 1 year old. I still have the Emira. It's still awesome. But not flawless. In the process of hopefully sorting out a few wee bits and I will write up some experiences, both positive and some less than ideal, in the next week or so. Here's a video of the full Miltek...

Update incoming - had it back since July, so lots of miles and events done in it..... and a lot to update on!

I've got it back. It's been away for so long, at the dealers, at Hethel, and a lot of work has been done on it. ECU, rewiring, latest software updates, all recalls carried out - even a new gear stick and a few other interior and exterior trim parts replaced. QC picked up more things, so has...

sorry, stopped to look around ;) Car is on it's way back to me from Hethel, currently stopped over night it looks like. Expect update tomorrow.
